Crimp Sleeves

Crimp Sleeves are used to secure EZ-Wire ends in EZ-Rod & Wire assemblies. There are two styles of sleeves used for different purposes. Wire Stopper Crimp Sleeves are used at the end of a single length of 3/64" WS-Wire, 1/8" or 1/4" diameter stainless steel wire. Wire Oval Crimp Sleeves are used when a 'loop' is formed in the end of a wire. It crimps the end of the wire next to the length of the wire above the loop. Oval Crimp Sleeves fit the same wire diameters as the Wire Stopper Crimp sleeves.

Crimp Sleeves can be crimped with the tools found on page 178 of the Hardware Catalog. We recommend whenever possible that you have Gyford StandOff Systems™ make your crimped connections for greater reliability. Unless your frequently needing to crimp ends of EZ-Wire assemblies, it is usually more economical and more reliable for us to make them than buying the tool.
