Drill Bits & Taps

Drill Bits & Taps for every typical and some not-so-typical applications of Gyford StandOff Systems™ machined aircraft-grade aluminum hardware.

Masonry Drill Bits will be needed for Concrete Anchors and other systems attachments. We offer the typical sizes needed: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 5/8". They all have Carbide Tips, high-speed alloy steel shafts and a 6" length so you can drill up to 4" deep.

Plastics Drill Bits are the right bits to use for plastics like lexan, plexiglass, sintra and vinyl. They have tips specifically cut for plastics to prevent chipping and cracking. There is a chart of available sizes found on page 181 of the Hardware Catalog.

Drill & Tap Kits are matched drill bits and taps available for our standard 10-24, 1/4-20 and 5/16-18 thread sizes.
