Plastic Tubing

Plastic Tubing is most frequently used for insulating Gyford StandOff Systems™ hardware from materials it passes through like plastics, glass and other materials. For an example of this, see page 123 in the StructureLite Catalog. In that example, Security Caps are used to hold Double Hinges onto glass panels and where the threads pass through the glass they are shielded from glass contact by a short section of Plastic Tubing.

Plastic Tubing is available in diameters and lengths to meet most design needs.
