We're very excited to share with you a creative and excellent design by Art Guild-NJ using our decorative mounting hardware. They utilized a combination of rods and components from the EZ-ROD & WIRE product line to create a tradeshow booth for one of their clients. The booth elegantly and functionally displays samples of fabrics, shades, and slats, allowing booth visitors to browse through the different colors and textures. Extreme Makeover | Home Edition
Super Hero Designs for a Super Hero Family
”The superhero headquarters room is a technologically cool lair that literally lights up at the touch of a hand.” – EMHE
Derse designed this Children’s Loft ‘Superhero Headquarters’ for the deserving Arboleda family on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (EMHE). They incorporated our EZ-ROD & WIRE product line to create “super hero” shelving systems and to provide accent panel connectors.
By using our EZ-ROD & WIRE system, Derse was able to use rod and wire from the same product line to maintain the same look and feel throughout the room. In addition, the clean and futuristic shape of the aluminum components helped tie in with the “super hero” theme. They used our 1/8" wire components to suspend two glass-shelving units that supported two 1/2" glass shelves with various “super hero” memorabilia. They also used our 3/8" rod components to accent and provide the illusion that they are supporting the main monitor wall by attaching them to the ends of the unit.
This was such a great project to be a part of. Thank you to the Derse team for inviting Gyford to be a part of giving to the Arboleda Family SUPER HERO project. We look forward to more projects like this in the future... Pay it forward.

The Arboleda parents moved from the Philippines to America to provide a better life for their family. They lived in a broken-down house that was not big enough for all five children. Somehow they still found the strength to make a good life for others. Rhex Arobleda started a fitness program for students (Move to the Groove), combining his passion for music and fighting childhood obesity. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition flipped their life around and welcomed the Arboleda family into a new home. Air Date: October 17, 2010

Haiti Memorial Artwork, 2011

We are grateful to have been selected by Fondation Digicel Haiti as the decorative mounting hardware supplier for this project. It is our honor to have our product included in this unique and deeply meaningful artistic dedication to the citizens lost in this tragic natural disaster, and to celebrate the resilience and spirit of the Haitian people.
"Created by Haitian artist Mario Benjamin to commemorate those who died in the January 2010 earthquake, this piece hangs four stories high in the Digicel atrium. The medium is light, with semi-abstract prints of images from all over the destroyed city printed on each panel, showing how life continues alongside devastation." – Elizabeth Headon, Digicel Haiti
